My name is Keren Dagan and I work for a software company that specialized in marketing automation: Data Mining, CRM, Campaign Management, Lead generation and Internet Marketing. My work title is director of engineering.

I have over 12 years of experience building software for the enterprise and more than 8 years managing development teams.

I started as a C++ developer  building highly scalable distributed systems. Few years ago I joined a start-up with promising technology that merged twice into larger and more successful companies. Today the application I mange is making money for some of the largest financial institutions in the world running tens to hundreds of millions of transactions a day and scanning for intersting patterns. It is highly reliable, scalable, and valuable to our customers. My expertise is in event monitoring, pattern recognition for lead generation. Along the way I become a manager and learned about team building, leadership and the business.

I spend (or better: invest) a lot of my time on the web.
In this blog I plan to focus on the recent development in the web world. I will share my observations on different web phenomena - i.e. the name webnomena.
I usually tend to focus on search and monitoring technics.
